There are numerous ways to get toothache pain relief. One way is to use an over the counter pain reliever medicine to ease a painful tooth. Another method is using over the counter tooth pain relievers instead. There are a few methods to relieve tooth pain that do not require taking medicine.

Relieving a painful tooth can be done in many ways. One option is to get a dentist appointment and get the tooth pulled or have the dentist fix the tooth if it is able to be saved. Also try going to your local pharmacy and choose from the many types of pain relievers they offer.

At the pharmacy, you can purchase daily use pain relievers such as ibuprofen. They are in pill form and will take about thirty minutes before you feel any pain relief. Other pain relieving pills are available in a variety of types. You can also use a nighttime pain reliever to help you sleep through your nightly tooth pain.

Instant relief from a painful tooth is available as well. Many come in gel form and instantly numb the gums and tooth. The relief from these will only last a minute or two but if used while waiting for your ibuprofen to take effect they can be quite useful. Clove oil is another instant way to ease a painful tooth by applying the liquid directly to the tooth.

Instant pain relieve has not always been an option with tooth pain. In the past, many have used hot pads and cold compresses to relieve pain from the jaw and teeth. You can also use a cavity and capping kit for teeth if the pain is coming from a broken tooth or a cavity filling that fell out. There plenty ways to get toothache pain relief just choose the one that is right for you.
